Random...

Today is a down day:(... I have much to be thankful for but I feel totally up to my head in stress and I think it just getting to me. Lately, I have been thinking about important people who have left a mark in my life. My Great Grandma was one of those people for me and my Mom. Yesterday, I had a "sign" from her that she is still with me though she may not physically be here. I reach in my pocket of some pants I put on and pulled out a single dime. She came to my mind immediately and I remember her showing me one time the tiny jar of dimes she save. She told me she like to collect dimes.I look forward to seeing her again one day. http://youtu.be/stFkFzPROKU

Day Three: Happiness

Bella drew a picture of her as the dog and Ava as a cat. She said she is happy when her and her sister get to play together. Ava said her happiness is a mess. My happiness is getting artwork from my love ones.

30 day Photo challenge: gratitude

Here I go again... this time I truly hope that I stay on track with blogging. So much has happen from the time I last posted. Some worth sharing and some not so much but it will take more than one post. My husband and I went through many trials and almost lost each other in the midst of the madness. God had a gift of hope and bought us back together.
On a lighter note, I thought I start a photo challenge titled gratitude that I found off http://www.flickr.com/photos/positivelypresent/6302156318/in/photostream. This time of year we all tend to step back and think about the things we are thankful for and what a better way to do that then photos.

Projects in the backyard

What a weekend! I am very grateful for my husband who brings my ideas to life. Our oldest calls him handy manny. Here are some of the projects we manage to accomplish this weekend.
A sailboat sandbox
Water table
Almost bubble station
Our sand table idea came from "Sunset backyards for kids"
Water table and bubble station idea came from Mom advice and I make stuff blog. http://networkedblogs.com/4FOpF and http://imakestuff.typepad.com/i-make-stuff/2009/07/how-to-bubble-station.html
I heart both these blogs...
