Day Ten and Eleven

Day ten is nature... well I was aiming to take a picture of the morning dew.

Day Eleven is something old and when I said I need something old my two year old said here Mommy. She pulled a cookie out of the couch from last night. I could not help but laugh and share. I use to clean more obsessively as my husband had once put. Those days are gone and we now our house is lived in. So, ever now and then you might find a cookie or sock in the couch or the beds unmade. That is my confession for today

Saw this idea tonight and would love to put a package together when we get our funds together. "Blessing Bags" to hand out to a person you see and maybe in need rather than handing money out.

Happy Anniversary to my love...

Eight years ago we said our vows... too young to drink or even know what we wanted out of life really. God has taught me the true meaning of love through our marriage though. We have lost our way and almost lost each other. I have learned forgiveness, faith and the true meaning of love and marriage. Happy Anniversary sweet heart... may there be many more to come.

Cherry limeade

I found this recipe off of http://thelittlebrownhouse.us/ and decide since we do not live close to a Sonic that it is a keeper. I should have done a bigger jar of cherries with my mixture but it turned out good still.

All you need is:

Minute Maid frozen limeade

Jar of cherries

2 liter sprite

We crushed ice in our food processor since I have yet to get a blender.

Today is a down day:(... I have much to be thankful for but I feel totally up to my head in stress and I think it just getting to me. Lately, I have been thinking about important people who have left a mark in my life. My Great Grandma was one of those people for me and my Mom. Yesterday, I had a "sign" from her that she is still with me though she may not physically be here. I reach in my pocket of some pants I put on and pulled out a single dime.She came to my mind immediately and I remember her showing me one time the tiny jar of dimes she save.
